The ACGC Charger Wrestling team will officially cap off their season with the annual wrestling banquet. The annual banquet is Tuesday at 6:30pm at the high school. Head Coach Shawn Danker tells Raccoon Valley Radio this is one of his favorite nights of the year. He’s looking forward especially to sharing with each wrestler booklets filled with articles on their performance and words of encouragement as they move forward.

The Charger wrestling squad graduates one senior, Zach Fees. This season on the mats came to an end at the Class 1A State Tournament at Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines. Danker’s son Seth qualified in the 106 pound weight class as a freshman, but lost his first two matches.
