ADM Tigers

Last Saturday, the Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Speech Team traveled to Nevada High School for the Individual State Speech Competition, and they enjoyed a great deal of success.

The ADM team sent 14 entries to State, and eight of them received overall “I” ratings. Unfortunately, none of the entries were selected for the All-State Festival, so their speech season is now complete. Speech Coach Jacque Seidl told Raccoon Valley Radio that she was proud of all of her speech students this year, as she felt they showed outstanding growth and performed their best. She was especially complimentary of the seniors in the program, as she believed they served as good role models for the underclassmen. Additionally, Seidl said the freshman class this year had a lot of strong performers, and she looks forward to seeing their growth into next year.

While ADM didn’t have any individual All-State performers, they did send their Choral Reading group to the Large Group All-State Festival in February. See below for a full list of results for the ADM Speech Team from the Individual State Speech Competition.
