Some of the best male high school athletes from Iowa made their way to Iowa State University Tuesday for the 25th running of the Iowa State Boys High School Classic.The Adel-Desoto-Minburn Tigers track program brought 11 boys to Ames for the meet, competing in 10 separate events. ADM produced two top 10 finishes in a pair of  field events.

Freshman Tate Stine-Smith cleared 5’10” in the high jump competition, tying him with nine athletes for eighth place overall. Sophomore Colton Pirtle had the 10th farthest measured long jump in Ames, leaping 18’7″.

The ADM boys track team closes their indoor season Friday at the annual Central College Indoor Meet in Pella.
