acgcThe ACGC Charger Boys Basketball team entered the first round of the District 15 postseason tournament last night against a very familiar foe. The third meeting this year between the Chargers and the Woodward-Granger Hawks ended the same as the previous two, with the Hawks coming out victorious, 54-40.

For the second consecutive game, the Chargers took a lead into the locker room at the half. However, Reese Jamison’s six made three-pointers spelled the end for ACGC’s postseason run. Sophomore Bryce Achenbach also chipped in 15 for the win.

Sophomore Bryce Littler led the Chargers with 13 points, including three three-pointers. The three outgoing seniors: Caden Wardyn, Collin Stowe, and Quenton Spack scored half of the team’s 40 points. Wardyn finishes his career with 532 points, second in program history only to Colton Sargent. The Chargers end their season at 3-19, and will take a 17 game losing streak into the offseason.
