A small amount of snow overnight leads to slick road conditions Saturday morning.

The Iowa Department of Transportation reports partially covered roads in Greene County, while roads are partially to mostly covered with snow in Guthrie and Dallas counties. Local roads may also be snow-covered and slick. Crews are out plowing snow Saturday morning and motorists are asked to give plows plenty of room to clear snow from the roadways. Don’t crowd the plow.

According to the National Weather Service, Perry received about 0.6-inch of snow Friday, while Guthrie Center had just a trace amount. There was no official data for Jefferson available. There is a slight chance of snow overnight tonight.
