Greene County Extension is continuing its Ag Coffee series later this week.

Extension Director Lori Mannel says this Friday’s Ag Coffee topic is Dicamba Issues. Extension Field Agronomist Mark Johnson will lead the discussion. Areas to be covered include: providing the most up-to-date information on labels; the pros and cons of using new formulations; and addressing possible future challenges. Mannel points out an important aspect that attending the Ag Coffee won’t cover.

“I want to emphasis this event does not qualify as a required training for applicators. It is an informal discussion for anyone interested on this volatile herbicide.”

Community State Bank in Paton is sponsoring the free event, which takes place at the Extension office this Friday from 9:30 to 11am. No pre-registration is necessary.
