U.S. Congressman David Young, who represents Guthrie and Adair counties in Iowa’s 3rd Congressional District, will conduct town hall meetings this month in Panora and Bridgewater. Young will be at Veterans’ Auditorium in Panora Tuesday, January 23rd from 11am-12:30pm. Later that week Young will be at the Bridgewater Community Center on Saturday, January 27th from 10-11am.

These “Coffee With My Congressman” meetings serve as one of Young’s many ways to reach out to his constituents. Young conducts these town hall style meetings once a year in each of the 16 counties in the 3rd Congressional District. Young talks about the opportunity to talk with his constituents at these meetings. “It’s a great time to get out and about and talk to folks and hear their concerns. I learn a lot from them. I want to know what the district is talking about and know how to answer some of the big concerns out here.”

Young has also offered open office hours, doing so most recently in Panora in September.
