West Central Valley Wildcat

After putting up one of their worst performances of the season Friday night against a county rival, the West Central Valley Wildcat boys basketball team (2-11 overall) responded with one of their best performance of the season against another in county adversary. As heard live on the KKRF2 stream at raccoonvalleyradio.com, the Wildcats welcomed the AC/GC Chargers (3-12 overall) to Stuart Tuesday for a West Central Activites Conference showdown. The Wildcats, who scored a season-low 24 points against Panorama, responded with a 64-52 victory against AC/GC. Junior Cole Arnburg led the way for West Central Valley with 19 points while senior Brock Wolfe added 10. Caden Wardyn and Bryce Littler poured in 16 points apiece to lead AC/GC. The Wildcats improve their record to 2-11 with the victory, while the loss drops AC/GC’s record to 3-12. West Central Valley resumes their season Thursday in Urbandale against the Des Moines Christian Lions. AC/GC is back on the court Friday hosting the Panorama Panthers in another conference and county rival showdown.
