10 Squared Women Representatives Present Check to Panora PETS President and Founder Kristine Jorgensen.

Ten Squared Women of Guthrie County recently presented a donation, from their final meeting in 2017, to Panora P.E.T.S. (Protecting Even the Strays). The shelter received $10,700 from the philanthropic organization.

The animal shelter was founded in 2003 to assist the stray and feral cat populations in the Panora community. They plan on using the money to purchase a small transport van. The shelter has been without a reliable vehicle for several years and volunteers have been using their own vehicles to transport animals, food, litter, and equipment.

For 2018 Ten Squared Women decided to move their meetings up one month. The meetings will now be held on the third Thursday of February, May, August, and November. The next quarterly meeting will be at 6pm on Thursday, February 15th at the Lake Panorama National Conference Center, with a light dinner served at 5:30.
