Perry School Board Special

For several years, the Perry School District has utilized outside sources for special education assistance, and at the recent School Board meeting funding was requested for those programs.

The Board submitted applications to the School Budget Review Committee (SBRC) for administrative costs associated with sending students to the Woodward Day School and Grandwood Consortium. The Woodward Day School is utilized by ten students in grades 7-12 who are currently enrolled in the Perry School District. The Grandwood Consortium is for students from kindergarten through 12th grade who have mental and behavioral disabilities. It’s currently being used by three Perry students.

The administrative costs for the Woodward Day School are $9,919.45, and $9,743.60 for the Grandwood Consortium.
