The Friends of the Perry Public Library will be hosting another edition of Trivia with Friends next week.

Library Director Mary Murphy says the event is open to trivia buffs of all ages, in teams of up to eight people. Additionally, she says if you register your team ahead of time, you could give yourselves a leg up on the competition. “If you sign up at the library real soon, you get to name a category! So if you get your team together, and you have your eight people signed up and paid, then you can name a category. We have eight categories, five questions. It’s only $10 a person, it’s a fundraiser for the Friends, and all the Friends money goes to programming for the library. And it’s always a fun, fun time!”

The winning team will be rewarded with Perry Bucks, so Murphy believes the competition should be fierce, but fun and good-natured. Trivia with Friends will be held on Thursday, January 18 at 6:30 p.m. at La Poste in Perry. There will be a cash bar and snacks provided.
