The Perry boys basketball team will look for their second straight win in the New Year tonight when they host Boone in a 7:30 game at the Perry Sports Pavilion.  The Jays are coming off an impressive 15 point win against Ballard holding the Bombers to 59 points while forcing 17 turnovers.

“I think we have really stepped up defensively,” added head coach Dennis McDonnell.  “I still feel our best defense is our ability to play man to man but we also have added a couple of twist over the break to mix in once in a while.  Defense is a lot of times about matching the other team’s schemes and personnel.  You have to be able to adapt.”

Perry’s Rashon Ivory continues to lead the scoring load averaging close to 20 points per game.

Shawn Kenney will have play by play action tonight starting at 5:50 tonight on KDLS and raccoonvalleyradio.com.
