The Perry boys basketball team came out shooting in 2018 as the Bluejays hit five of their first eight three point shots Friday night in defeating 3rd place Ballard 74-59 in Raccoon River Conference action.  Senior Tanner Duffy enjoyed his best game of the season finishing with 15 points including three first half 3-pointers.  Perry trailed only once in the game at 21-20 early in the second quarter.  The Bluejays went on a 14-2 run to close out the first half aided by three straight 3-pointers and a five point trip down the floor in the closing seconds of the first half thanks to a Ballard technical foul.

Rashon Ivory continued to sparkle leading all scorers with 22 points.  Drew Levan stepped up and turned in an all around performance leading the team with 9 rebounds while adding 15 points.

It was a huge win for Perry as they knock off a Ballard team that was 3-1 in conference play.  Perry improves to 2-3 in RRC play.
