A former Dallas Center pastor has pled guilty to one of thirteen counts in a 2017 sexual abuse case. According to court documents, Randy August Johnson, 53, pled guilty to one count of child endangerment Friday in Dallas County District Court. This charge is a Class D Felony, which carries a maximum sentence of five years in prison or a $7,500 fine.

Johnson faces twelve additional charges, including: five counts of third degree sexual abuse, a Class C Felony; two counts of assault with intent to commit sexual abuse, an aggravated misdemeanor; three counts of indecent contact with a child, an aggravated misdemeanor; and two counts of indecent exposure, a serious misdemeanor. Judge Thomas Murphy accepted the plea, and sentencing for this count has been scheduled for March 3rd. Johnson was arrested and charged on January 25th, 2017 for the alleged incidents.
