GCCF_Horizontal_CMYKGreene County Community Foundation grant applications are now available.

A new change to the application process is a simpler form for smaller grants of $3,000 or less. GCCF President Tom Wind says the smaller grant forms will take less time to fill out and the Board doesn’t need as much information in their evaluation process. GCCF will continue to accept applications for projects up to $35,000. Those projects over that amount can apply for Grow Greene County Gaming Corporation grants.

To help the application process, the Foundation will host a grant writing workshop on Wednesday, January 17th at 7pm at the Greene County Extension office. Wind talks about why they are bringing back the workshop.

“It’s our opportunity to talk to people that are interested in applying for a grant. Maybe they don’t know quite how to do it or what the limitations are. It’s a great opportunity for people to really determine if this is the right thing to do, and then we’ll certainly help them with the grant application if they need any help on that too.”

Applications must be submitted to Journey Financial at Home State Bank in Jefferson by 4pm on February 15th. Grants will be awarded in mid-March. A link to the applications can be found below. Contact Wind for more information at 370-2896 or Journey Financial at 386-2570.
