The middle game of three conference contest week took the West Central Valley girls basketball team (6-8 overall) to Urbandale Thursday. The Wildcats matchup up with the Des Moines Christian Lions in a makeup game inside the West Central Activities Conference. The Wildcats ended up on the short end of a 65-32 result. Senior Grace Dupuy topped West Central Valley with 16 points, while sophomore Sydney Neal added 10 in the setback. The loss drops the Wildcats overall record to 6-8. West Central Valley closes the competition week tonight in a league matchup at Madrid. The varsity girls game tips off at 6 p.m., and the boys will follow.
