Dallas Co Supervisors 1-9

The Dallas County Board of Supervisors will convene Tuesday morning in regular session.

At 9:45 a.m., there will be a public hearing to review the bids received for bid package number five of the new law enforcement center. The County had to re-bid the package, which includes structural steel work, because there was no single responsive bidder for it. The Supervisors will also hold discussion of an additional budget funding request from the Dallas County Development Alliance. The Board will then hold another public hearing regarding the vacation of a road near Waukee.

Other items on the agenda include: a resolution for the Conservation Board to submit a Prairie Meadows Legacy Grant Application; a law enforcement center Iowa Communities Assurance Pool (ICAP) Builders risk supplement; a Lucas Assist device for the cardiac arrest program; a proclamation for National School Choice Week; and Board appointments for the Dallas County Aging Resources senior representative.

The meeting is open to the public and will be held at 9 a.m. Tuesday in the Board of Supervisors meeting room in downtown Adel.
