Shawn AntisdaleA West Des Moines man was recently sentenced to prison for robbing a bank in Casey.

According to court documents, 38-year-old Shawn Michael Antisdel was sentenced in Guthrie County District Court Monday to five years in prison after pleading guilty to a Class C Felony for second degree theft. Antisdel robbed the Rolling Hills Bank in Casey on July 21st. Antisdel was also sentenced in Dallas County on a similar charge of a Class C Felony for second degree theft, when he robbed the First State Bank in Redfield on August 21st. Both prison sentences are to run concurrently.

Guthrie County District Court Judge Brad McCall also ordered Antisdel to pay fines and legal fees associated with the Guthrie County felony charge. The state agreed to drop the additional charge of third degree robbery.
