iowa-state-patrolA Jefferson man involved in a wreck in Ida County Tuesday night.

According to an Iowa State Patrol report, the crash happened on Highway 20, east of German Avenue just after 6:30pm. Sixty-year-old Neil Arbegast, of Ida Grove, was traveling west on Highway 20 when he crossed the centerline and his 2002 Grand Prix Pont sideswiped a 2013 International semi-tractor trail, driven by 44-year-old Sidali Filali of New Brighton, Minnesota. Arbegast’s Grand Prix then spun around and was rear-ended by a 2011 Kenworth semi-tractor trailer, driven by 54-year-old Jeffrey Custer of Jefferson.

Filali’s semi-tractor is owned by Paradox LLC from Saint Paul, Minnesota. Custer’s semi-tractor is owned by M&W Ag Supply from Jefferson. The report shows there was damage to the vehicles, but no one was injured in the crash.

Ida County Sheriff’s office and Holstein Fire Department assisted at the scene.
