Dallas Center Grimes raced out to a 40-15 halftime lead and cruised to an easy 71-43 victory over visiting Perry Tuesday night.  The Mustangs put the game away in the opening eight minutes opening up an 18-5 first quarter lead.  DCG took advantage of a blending of defenses to take away any type of Perry rhythm.  The Bluejays struggled from the floor and could not match the defensive intensity flared by the Mustangs.  Rashon Ivory was the offensive highlight for Perry finishing with a season high 25 points.  Brandon Kenyon added 9 points.  One of the reason’s for Perry’s struggles defensively was the absence of Reese Dunlap.  The defensive minded player was not in uniform due to an injured leg.

Perry falls to 1-3 and will host Carlisle Friday night.
