Panorama basketball returns home Tuesday in a boys/girls double header against Madrid in Panora. The Panorama boys (1-4) will be looking to bounce back after a tough 61-54 loss against ACGC. Meanwhile, the Panthers girls (7-1) are riding a wave of momentum and a six game winning streak. Their latest victory was a 70-38 win over ACGC.

Madrids girls come in to this game in the middle of the conference with a 3-2 record. A chance to climb the ladder is sitting in front of them, but to do it they will have to come out on top against a Panorama team that is as hot as any in the state right now. The Panthers still have no room to breathe, however. They are even in the loss column with second place Earlham.

On the boys side, the script is somewhat reversed. Madrid (4-1) is the team pursuing a potential conference title. They sit just one loss behind first place Des Moines Christain (6-0) and cannot afford to give up more ground. As we head towards the middle part of the season, every game begins to carry more and more implication.

Again, these match ups are scheduled to be played in Panora.  Tip off is at 6:00 pm for the girls and 7:30 pm for the boys. So get out and support your local teams!
