Menlo Christmas Parade Tonight

christmasCommunities around the region have celebrated the holiday season with various activities for the whole family. Menlo will do the same today, culminating in the Christmas parade tonight at 7pm.

The day’s festivities will take place at the Menlo Community building beginning with sugar cookie decorations from 9-11am. From 2-3pm Menlo Parks and Rec will sponsor Bingo for all ages. The Menlo Booster Club is sponsoring chris cakes from 5-6pm and the ugly Christmas sweater contest will start at 5:30. Following the contest, the big man in the red suit arrives at 6pm and will be there until 6:30.

The evening concludes with the lighted Christmas parade through town. Parade entries are welcome, with the top three winning cash prizes. Line up begins at 6:30 behind the firetruck on the road along the railroad tracks by the park. All activities are free and open to the public.
