Hardy Among League Leaders in Blocks

A junior on the Adel-Desoto-Minburn Tigers girls basketball team (0-4 overall; 0-1 RRC) is making it difficult for opposing players to score near the hoop. Forward Rachel Hardy has blocked at least one shot in every game for the Tigers this winter. Her nine blocked shots are tied for the second most in the Raccoon River Conference with Boone’s Claire Sandvig. Carlisle’s Meredith Hoffman is the league leader in blocked shots with 14. Hardy’s best defensive game came against the Van Meter Bulldogs (1-2 overall) on November 25 in Adel. She blocked five shots the Tigers 48-44 loss to the Bulldogs.
