ADM Tigers

A Raccoon River Conference triangular takes the Adel-Desoto-Minburn Tigers wrestling team out east tonight. The Tigers pay a visit to Carlisle High School for a league battle against the Wildcats and the Winterset Huskies. ADM will wrestle in the first two duals of the evening. ADM looks to return to winning form after losing four duals over the weekend in Grinnell. The Tigers gave up 42 points up in every match due to forfeits against East Marshall/GMG (54-27), Grinnell (42-35), Mount Pleasant (60-21) and Wilton (65-10).

Five ADM wrestlers enter tonight’s duals with eight or more match victories under their belt. Andrew Flora, Class 2A’s No. 2 wrestler at 113 pounds, had tallied 12 wins including six pinfalls, three decisions, two forfeits, and a technical fall. Kaden Sutton (220) has registered 10 wins on the mat including four by fall, two major decisions, two decisions, a sudden victory, and a win by forfeit. Nolan Harsh (152) is one of three ADM wrestlers with eight varsity wins including six pinfalls, a major decision, and a decision victory. Charles Craigmile (182) also has eight wins including five by fall, a major decision, a decision, and one win by forfeit. Finally, Brodrick Schmidt (160) has recorded eight wins on the mat including three pins, three decisions, a major decision, and one win by forfeit.

Winterset will bring three ranked sophomore wrestlers into tonight’s Raccoon River Conference dual including Bryce Hatten (No. 9 120), Jack West (No. 10 126), and Bradley Tolley (No. 8 285). Carlisle doesn’t have any wrestlers ranked in Class 2A according to the Predicament. Tonight’s duals start at 5:30 p.m. from Carlisle High School.
