WCV (1)The West Central Valley School Board is continuing its search for the next superintendent. Current Superintendent Dr. David Arnold is retiring at the end of June.

The Board selected Grundmeyer Leader Group to conduct the search for the next superintendent. The search process includes a survey available to students, teachers, parents, and community members. Dr. Arnold explains the importance of filling out the survey. “Dr. (Trent) Grundmeyer will bring that data back to (the Board) them to share what’ he’s found; candidates he’s found that meet that criteria. It’s very important our people get a chance to say what they think.”

Surveys can be filled out until December 13th, which is also the deadline for applications to be submitted to the District. After looking at the recommended applicants, the Board will select a certain amount for initial interviews. Following the interviews, the Board will select two or three final candidates to be interviewed by groups of selected individuals on January 15th. The goal is to select the new superintendent by January’s board meeting. A link to the survey can be found below:
