Jasmine Teed

The 18-year-old Adel mother arrested earlier this month on child endangerment charges has entered a not-guilty plea.

Jasmine Cheyenne Teed was arrested on November 2nd, after her 2-year-old twins were found running naked and unsupervised near the intersection of highways 6 and 169 in Adel. She was charged with two counts of child endangerment, an aggravated misdemeanor. She posted bond and was released, and had her preliminary hearing on November 13th. Teed was scheduled to have an arraignment hearing this Thursday, but her attorney submitted a written arraignment Monday morning where she pleaded not-guilty to both charges.

Her next court date has not been scheduled yet. The Iowa Department of Human Services is investigating the case, along with the Adel Police Department. Raccoon Valley Radio will bring you more information on this case as it becomes official.
