The Perry boys basketball team won’t begin practice until next Monday and the Bluejays are anxious to hit the courts and pick up where they left off last season.  Perry made it all the way to the district final before losing a tight game with Raccoon River conference champion Boone.  Dennis McDonnell returns for his second season and will feature some returning firepower.  Rashon Ivory and Connor Nielsen are the top returning scorers back averaging 10 and 6 points per game.  Drew Levan and Brandon Kenyon also started at times last year.
