Zachery WatersA Paton man will be sentenced later this month after pleading guilty to a September incident.

According to court documents, 21-year-old Zachery Waters pled guilty to an aggravated misdemeanor for domestic assault and a serious misdemeanor for assault on a peace officer. Court documents show that the state agreed to drop all other charges.

The plea stems from an incident in the 400 block of South Main Street in Paton on September 19th. When deputies arrived on scene, Waters was assaulting his mother and brother. He also assaulted a deputy as he was being apprehended.

Waters was originally charged with felonies for burglary, domestic abuse assault – impeding flow of blood and air and harassment and misdemeanors for no contact order with his mother and interference with official acts.

Sentencing is scheduled for November 30th.
