The 2017 Panorama volleyball campaign officially ended over the weekend with the squad’s end of season banquet. Panther head volleyball coach Renae Follmuth handed out the team’s postseason awards from the conference season as well as team awards.

Panorama’s offensive player of the year was Brooke Halterman. Halterman, a second team all-conference performer, led the Panthers with 171 kills, 65 more than anyone else on the squad. She also posted eight serve aces during the season. The Panther’s defensive player of the year went to senior Nicole Rolfes. An honorable mention all-conference member, Rolfes tallied 81 digs and 18 blocks for Panorama. Junior Kennedy Kuta received Panorama’s all-around award. Kuta was the squad’s leader with 403 assists. She also recorded 77 digs, 44 kills, 34 ace serves, and 19 blocks,

The players voted on three team most valuable player awards, which were voted on by members of the corresponding unit. The B squad MVP was Emma Powell, the junior varsity was Maggie Woodvine, and the varsity award went to Morgan Johnk. The Panorama Panthers volleyball team closed the campaign with a 7-25 overall record. Panorama loses four players to graduation including Rolfes, Carson Fisher, Faith Powell, and Hope Wilderman.
