meals_from_the_heartland_logoThursday is Thanksgiving. However, Panorama School District students will get a head start on serving the meals. The district will help the hungry by packaging meals on Wednesday with Meals from the Heartland.

The school raised $5,000 in order to have the funds to package 50,000 meals. All students in grades 6-12 will be able to participate in the event. Some of the meals will stay at the food pantry at Panorama as part of MFH’s “Leave Behind” program. The rest of the meals will be distributed around the country and the world, including disaster relief sites.
