Funeral services for Jerry Bender, 74, of Carroll, will be Friday at 10:30 am at the St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church in Carroll.  Burial will be at 2 pm at the Violet Hill Cemetery in Perry.  Visitation will be Thursday at 5 pm at the church.  A prayer service will be held at 6:30 pm.  Visitation will resume Friday morning at 9:30 am until the time of the service.  Sharp Funeral Home in Carroll is assisting the family.  Online condolences may be left at sharpfuneral.com.
