Guthrie County Courthouse FallThe Guthrie County Board of Supervisors will meet in regular session today.

After a conservation update from County Conservation Director Joe Hanner, the Board will consider for approval 2017 family farm credit applications. The Board will then consider repairs to the truck that was purchased last week from the Adair and Guthrie County Emergency Management Agency. The Board purchased the truck for $1,000 and the estimated cost for repairs are between $6,000-$8,000. The Board will then discuss creating a new Facilities Manager position. The duties of this position would include: management of buildings and grounds for the Guthrie County Courthouse, Public Health Department, and Transfer Station.

The Board will conclude the meeting with the canvass of votes from last week’s city elections. The Board will also continue to work on the transfer station’s action plan and various property projects on Thursday.

Both meetings begin at 9 am in the Supervisors’ Room at the Guthrie County courthouse. The canvass begins at 10:30 and is open to the public.
