Greene County Chamber and Tourism has extended the deadline for their annual volunteerism award.

Nominations for the 2017 Above and Beyond the Call Award will be accepted through Friday, December 15th. The award is presented annually to an individual or a couple who through their personal involvement, leadership qualities and unselfish giving of their time and talent have positively affected activities or accomplishments beneficial to the community at-large. Nomination forms are available at the Thomas Jefferson Gardens Education and Welcome Center or by emailing the Chamber at chamber@greenecountyiowa.com. Nominations will be accepted until 3pm on December 15th.

The winner will be announced at the Greene County Chamber and Tourism Annual Membership Dinner in January of 2018.
