The holiday season is in the air, and the City of Adel and the public library are inviting you to join them for the annual Holiday Open House.

On Friday, December 1st, Adel will play host to Santa, Mrs. Claus, and the elves at the library. Attendees can get their pictures taken with Santa, and there will also be balloon art and face painting. In addition to the traditional activities for the Holiday Open House, a new event has been added this year: a Holiday Craft Show and Book Fair. The show will feature local artists and authors, and the library is still accepting interested vendors.

The craft and book fair will run from noon- 5 p.m., with the open house activities running from 3:30-5:30 at the library. For more information or to get involved, contact Paula at 515-993-3512.
