ADM Volleyball General

Another chapter of Adel-Desoto-Minburn Tigers volleyball closed this week with the end of season banquet. ADM head volleyball coach Mary Beth Scott notified Raccoon Valley Radio of the team’s postseason awards voted on by members of the squad.

Senior Sami Schepers received two of the five team awards including best offensive player and the squad’s most valuable player award. A unanimous first team all-conference performer, Schepers was one of three Raccoon River Conference volleyball players with more than 350 kills this fall, recording a career-best 353. Scott says Scheper’s had the fifth most kills produced in a season in school history. She recorded 20 or more kills in four matches this fall, including both of her team’s postseason contests.

ADM’s best defensive player award went to senior libero Jordan Hook. A unanimous first team all-conference performer, Hook recorded 399 digs this fall for ADM. The Tigers most improved player award went to junior Jordyn Crow. Crow recorded 54 total blocks, and 47 kills this season. The squad’s Tiger Pride award is shared by senior Ellie Mueller and sophomore Josi Lonneman.

The ADM volleyball team closed their season with a 23-12 overall record, finishing the year as co-champions of the Raccoon River Conference. The Tigers lose six players to graduation.
