Adair County SheriffThe Adair County Sheriff’s Office is once again participating in the United States Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots program. However, unlike last year, the sheriff’s office will now be a distribution site as well as a collection site. The distribution status was made possible by the efforts of Deputy James Paup.

Any child in need that is a resident of Adair County, or is enrolled in an Adair County school district, can sign up for the program. The applications can be filled out by a parent or guardian and must be turned in to the sheriff’s office by Wednesday, December 6th. Each child may only sign up once through the Toy for Tots Foundation and applications must be filled out completely to be accepted.

Those wishing to donate can drop off any new, unwrapped, packaged toys to the sheriff’s office or Shopko in Greenfield by Wednesday, December 13th. Local businesses who wish to drop off toys in another fashion can make arrangements with the sheriff’s office. Monetary donations are also accepted, which will go towards the purchase of additional toys.

Toys can be picked up on Friday, December 15th from 5-8pm at the sheriff’s office. Contact information and an accessible application can be found below:
