The winter season kicked off yesterday with the first practice for ACGC girls basketball. The Lady Charger basketball team will have a little over a week to prepare for their opening match at Audubon. The Lady Chargers will face the Lady Wheelers twice to open the season. The first is next Thursday, November 16th at 6 pm and the second is the following Monday at 7:30 pm. The boys team will get their season started at Exira on Tuesday, November 21st at 6 pm. Both teams open the conference schedule at home against Madrid on Tuesday, November 28th, starting with the girls at 6 pm.

The Charger wrestling team will hit the mats for the first time this season on Thursday, November 30th at East Union. Along with host East Union, the Chargers will square off against Nodaway Valley and Guthrie County rival West Central Valley.
