WCV (1)The West Central Valley cross country teams will enter Thursday’s West Central Activities Conference meet with ten days since their previous performances at Nodaway Valley. The Nodaway Valley Invitational helped the girls team reach the top five, giving them good momentum before Thursday’s meet.

Milayla Jaeger has led the girls team for most of the season. However, Aliyah Dickson showed some promise at Nodaway Valley, coming in 12th place. At that meet, five lady wildcats finished in the top 50. Louden Foster continues to lead the pack on the boys team. Foster finished in 19th at Nodaway Valley. Alex Kalbach and Cael Carl will also look to have good performances at the Conference meet.

The Wildcats are making their final preparations and tweaking final technical areas before the Conference meet Thursday at the Panorama Par 3 Golf Course in Panora. The Wildcats hope to begin the journey to state on a positive note, having only sent three runners combined to last year’s state meet.
