panoraThe Panora City Council will meet in regular session Monday.

Deb McCauley of Asset Pro will present on employment health insurance for 2018, with a discussion to follow. The Panora Park Board will then make a recommendation on park regulations, including possible changes to park hours. The Council will then discuss adding unoccupied or incomplete buildings to the City’s Nuisance Abatement Code. After moving forward at the previous Council meeting with sidewalk repair plans at Michael Mills Park, the Council will also act on approving the bid from Y.T. Construction for the project.

The Council will spend the rest of the meeting reviewing amendments to council and employee handbooks. The topics covered by the amendments include: standing committee appointments, administrative work schedules, disciplinary action, dress code, City sponsored travel, and the EMS work schedule.

The meeting begins at 6:30 pm at Panora City Hall.
