Tomorrow evening, Raccoon Valley Radio invites you to “Meet the Candidates” for the upcoming election during a special program. Those in Dallas County should listen to FM 99.7, AM 1310 KDLS to learn more about those running for mayor and council in Perry and Adel.

The program will begin at 6 p.m., starting with the four candidates vying for the Perry City Council’s at-large seat. The candidates include: Harlan Den Beste, Elizabeth Hix, Vicki Klein, and Ron Leber. Following that will be the two candidates running for Mayor of Adel, the challenger Carter Nordman and incumbent Jim Peters. The Dallas County candidate forum will conclude with the four candidates running for the two open at-large seats on the Adel City council, which include: Rob Christensen, incumbent Rebecca Hillmer, Jodi Selby, and Bryce Smith. As Perry mayoral candidate John Andorf and ward two city council candidate Dr. Randy McCaulley are both running unopposed, they will not be featured in the forum.

The “Meet the Candidates” program will air twice: once tomorrow, and again on Thursday, November 2nd. The city and local option sales tax election will be on Tuesday, November 7th.
