Kate Crawford’s impressive winning streak came to an end last Thursday at the WCAC Conference meet. Crawford finished in second behind Panorama’s Ella Waddle, and ended a streak which began at last year’s state meet. Crawford will have an opportunity to start a new streak Thursday at the state qualifying meet at the Holstein Country Club.

ACGC Head Coach Collin Shawgo says Crawford is disappointed with the result but will look to be ready to go on Thursday. “Kate was a little banged up going into that race. As long as she gets healthy for the state qualifying meet and the state meet that’s the most important part.”

Both Charger teams will compete this Thursday. The state meet is Saturday, October 29th in Fort Dodge.
