Jefferson Police DeptJefferson Police have requested an arrest warrant for an alleged assault incident against a Beaver man.

Police Chief Mark Clouse says an investigation began on September 3rd of a reported assault incident in an apartment in the 300 block of North Wilson Avenue. Clouse tells Raccoon Valley Radio that 18-year-old James Lee Hoyle knocked on the victim’s front door and started yelling at him with in-coherent statements. Victim then claimed that Hoyle physically assaulted him and then left the apartment building.

Clouse notes that the victim didn’t know who Hoyle was. Clouse points out that they had to wait for medical records before applying for the warrant. Hoyle is charged with a Class D Felony for assault causing serious injury.

Clouse says once the warrant is issued and Hoyle is apprehended, he will be booked into the Greene County jail.
