Everyone is invited to Greene County’s 4-H Awards and New Member Night this weekend.

Director Lori Mannel says the events will be held at John 15 Vineyard Sunday, October 15th. The day starts with new members at 2pm, followed by free games including putt-putt golf and yard games at 3pm. Then at 5pm will be a dinner for all attendees with the day wrapping up with the awards ceremony at 6pm. Mannel likes the idea of combining both new members and the awards events together in one evening.

“We want to take advantage of the nice accommodations that John 15 (Vineyard) has. It matches the new members, if they want to stick around we encourage them to, to see what veteran 4-H’ers do, have the fun, have the dinner and then they can stick around and see the awards ceremony.”

John 15 Vineyard is located at 343 180th Street in Scranton. No reservations or pre-registration is necessary for the free event.
