Dallas Co Supervisors 10-17

The Dallas County Board of Supervisors will convene Tuesday morning in regular session.

The meeting will start with the Board giving out certificates of appreciation to 15 county employees, thanking them for their years of service. After that, the Supervisors will consider a request for out of state travel for Emergency Medical Services Director Mike Thomason. At 9:30 a.m., the Supervisors will hold a public hearing for the second reading of an amendment to the urban renewal plan. They will then set a time and date for a public hearing on the first reading of the county’s pioneer cemetery ordinance.

Next, the Board will consider construction permits for the Iowa Department of Transportation, as well as requests from the treasurer’s department. Finally, they will hold a study workshop for Interstate 80 planning. The meeting will conclude with an exempt session for the purpose of conducting negotiations strategy.

The meeting is open to the public and will be held at 9 a.m. Tuesday in the Board of Supervisors meeting room in Adel.
