The unofficial results from Tuesday’s two school board elections in Greene County are in.

According to the Greene County Auditor’s office, voters chose incumbent Mike Dennhardt with 485 votes, along with newcomers Steve Karber with 589 votes and Catherine Wilson with 535 votes were elected to the three available seats on the Greene County School Board. Lana Teeples received 454 votes. All seats were at-large.

As for Paton-Churdan School Board, Mitch Stream and Dennis Tilley ran unopposed for two of the three available seats on the School Board and they each received 60 votes. The third seat was filled by a write-in candidate, which was Sarah Obinna with 47 votes. Eric Happe ran unopposed to fill a vacancy on the School Board and won with 57 votes. P-C voters also passed the special measure to continue the voter-approved physical plant and equipment levy for another ten years with 51“yes” votes to ten “no” votes.

There were 839 ballots cast of the 6,260 registered voters for a 13.40-percent voter turnout.

All results are unofficial until the Greene County Board of Supervisors canvass the votes on Friday.
