Dallas Board of Supervisors

The Dallas County Board of Supervisors will convene Tuesday morning in regular session.

The meeting will start with a request from the Sheriff’s office for a vehicle purchase. They will then continue discussion on the sewer options for the new law enforcement center. Representatives from the City of Adel are expected to attend and let the Board know the latest on their attempts to extend the City’s sewer service to the area. The Supervisors are wanting more information before deciding on an expansion plan for the Ortonville lagoon. They will also continue discussion on a parcel removal from the county’s urban renewal plan.

Additionally they will consider a resolution for fiscal year 2018 appropriations, and MPO Tiger and INFRA grant letters of support. That will be followed by a workshop regarding operations and finance. The meeting will conclude with an exempt session for the purpose of conducting a negotiations strategy meeting.

The Supervisors meeting is open to the public and will be held at 9 a.m. Tuesday in the Board of Supervisors meeting room in Adel.
