ADM

Containing the opponent’s rushing attack has been a problem of the Adel-Desoto-Minburn (ADM) Tigers football team (1-4 overall; 0-3 Class 3A District 7) this fall. The issue continued Friday night as the Tigers traveled to Harlan for a Class 3A District 7 clash versus the Cyclones (4-1 overall; 3-0 Class 3A District 7).Harlan compiled 435 rushing yards and ran in seven touchdowns in a 55-7 victory over ADM.

The Tigers had no answer for Harlan senior running back Nick Foss. Foss recorded 268 yards rushing and scored six touchdowns in the Cyclone’s homecoming victory. ADM’s only points came in the second quarter; a 75-yard connection between quarterback Matthew West and receiver Cole Knoll. The setback drops ADM’s record to 1-4 overall and 0-3 in the district. ADM returns home next week to battle Denison-Schleswig (3-2 overall; 2-1 Class 3A District 7).
