The Greene County Sheriff’s office recently arrested two individuals for a burglary incident in Grand Junction.

Sheriff Jack Williams tells Raccoon Valley Radio they arrested 27-year-old Dray Rivera of Grand Junction and 28-year-old Takayla Pittman of Perry on warrants for Class D Felonies for third degree burglary.

The charges stem from an incident at the Grand Junction Community Center on August 29th. The front doors to the community center were unlocked overnight and Rivera and Pittman allegedly walked into the building and stole one of the flat screen televisions. Williams says both suspects were caught on the community center’s video surveillance. Arrest warrants were then issued and Williams and a deputy apprehended the suspects Wednesday in the 1000 block of Railroad Street in Grand Junction.
