vote

Tomorrow is the day to head out to the polls for this year’s school board elections.

For both the Perry and Adel-DeSoto-Minburn School districts, there are two seats open and two candidates running. While that may not create as much drama in their elections as some other area schools, it’s still an important process in shaping the futures for the districts. In Perry, the ballot features current Board President Kyle Baxter and newest board member Casey Baldwin. The ADM ballot has current Board Vice President Kelli Book and board member Rod Collins.

If you live in the Perry School District, whether or not your children attend the school, your polling location is the McCreary Community Building. For ADM, the polling locations are the Adel Public Library, the DeSoto United Methodist Church, or the Minburn United Methodist Church. The polls will be open from 7 a.m. – 8 p.m. Additionally, voters in the West Central Valley District will have to vote at the Dallas County Auditor’s Office in Adel from 7 a.m. – noon. After that time, they can vote at their city’s designated polling location.

Listen tomorrow night for election results for all school districts in the Raccoon Valley Radio listening area.
