Another Raccoon River Conference volleyball match awaits ADM (8-3; 1-0 RRC) tonight when Carroll (3-9; 0-0 RRC) comes to town for a battle of Tigers on the hardwood. It’s the only competition of the week for ADM, who enters tonight winning five of their last six matches. Their latest victory came in Perry last Tuesday, defeating the Jayettes in straight sets (25-18, 25-7, 25-17). Senior Amy Gottschalk posted a team-best seven kills and two blocks versus Perry.

Carroll will look for their first match win of the month when they visit Adel tonight. The Tigers last victory came against South Central Calhoun on August 29, winning in five sets (21-25, 26-24, 27-25, 16-25, 15-9). Carroll lost their Raccoon River Conference opener to Boone last Tuesday in four sets (25-17, 18-25, 18-25, 17-25), and was on the short end of all four matches they participated in part of this past weekend’s Spencer Volleyball Invitational.

First serve of tonight’s Raccoon River Conference volleyball match between ADM and Carroll is set for 7 p.m. in Adel.
